The 10/50 Clearing Code of Practice is now in operation with clearing occurring across the State. The policy is already causing the loss of much loved suburban greenery, as well as endangered ecological communities such as coastal littoral rainforest.

  • Local communities must be given the opportunity to opt-out from the code and become 10/50 Free Zones
  • Environmental and heritage protections must be restored under the scheme
  • An immediate and independent review of the 10/50 code must be implemented to assess the impact it is having across the State, and make necessary changes to protect threatened trees and ecological communities.
