Australia’s gun control laws are the envy of the world. When the Port Arthur massacre occurred in 1996 political courage delivered the ground-breaking National Firearms Agreement. These common sense gun controls, combined with a large-scale gun buyback, took thousands of dangerous weapons off the streets. They save lives.

Don't water down our gun laws

The NSW Coalition government has just introduced legislation that would substantially water down our gun laws. Community safety cannot be traded for unprincipled deals with the gun lobby.

Contact your local MP and ask them to vote against the Firearms and Weapons Legislation Amendment 2017.

You can also let them know what you think about the number of guns in your suburb.
